With these innovations steadily altering the healthcare paradigm, understanding shared anticipations is crucial.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>The diversity of our respondents enriches the data:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\u003Cli>Physicians: 36.9%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Non-healthcare professionals: 25.4%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Company leaders: 22.8%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Healthcare administrators: 11.3%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Nurses: 3.7%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>In terms of experience, most of our participants are seasoned professionals:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\u003Cli>Over 20 years of experience: 48%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>10-20 years of experience: 22.7%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>5-10 years of experience: 15.7%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Under 5 years of experience: 13.6%\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\n\n\n\u003Ch2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three surprising findings from the survey\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>You have full access to the survey report with all the questions, so here we only want to highlight a few intriguing findings that emerged from the data. \u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Ch3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Diverse use cases\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>Analysing the data we found that a significant majority (over two-thirds) of our followers have already used ChatGPT or some other Large Language Model, occasional users being in slightly higher numbers than black-belted regulars. When browsing the answers we received to the question asking about typical use cases, we found a very diverse range of applications. Here are several interesting examples from our audience: \u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\u003Cli>Verbal introduction in meetings on specific topics\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Assistance with writing code.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>New content creation\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Outpatient communication and creation of discharge notes\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Administrative texts, essay and text generation, ideation, and others\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Prepare presentations\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Proofreading and help with writing\u002Fediting\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Fun questions, non-medical\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Marketing support\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Differential diagnosis\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Med device development; legal document interpretation\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Sales messages\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Industry analysis, leadership impact, policy evaluation\u003C\u002Fli>\n\n\n\n\u003Cli>Compiling workshop feedback into summaries and quickly identifying common or reoccurring themes\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003C\u002Ful>\n\n\n\n\u003Ch3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Looking at prompt engineering from quite some distance\u003C\u002Fh3>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>A salient point emerged around prompt engineering. A majority (57%) are acquainted with its concept. However, a closer look reveals only 45% have actively sought to refine these skills. Given the importance of prompt engineering in harnessing AI’s full potential – an aspect we’ve \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedicalfuturist.com\u002Fprompt-engineering-11-tips-to-craft-great-chatgpt-prompts\u002F\">discussed in great detail in this article\u003C\u002Fa> – this skill gap warrants attention and educational interventions.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Ch3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. The future vision of LLMs in healthcare: \u003C\u002Fh3>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>The prevailing sentiment leans toward optimism about \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedicalfuturist.com\u002Fwhy-it-is-important-to-understand-multimodal-large-language-models-in-healthcare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LLMs’ contribution\u003C\u002Fa> to healthcare. This underscores that our respondents possess a more informed understanding of the domain.
