These include software to keep track of the COVID-19 spread, apps to receive healthcare remotely and even physical phones for contact tracing. However, some of these apps might hide malicious software that can harm your device. Using data from these sources, South Korean health authorities can pinpoint who was in close contact with an infected person or a hotspot for the disease and identify who to test.
